Also, does the library work with only select video editors or is it pretty open as if you were picking a clip or effect from your hard drive and completely independent from the editing product?

Is the effects library access limited to a certain amount of time or is it full access but no upgrades or support (the latter is what it sounds like from the terms but I just wanted to be sure).
