Absurd. The video resolution seems like the year 2000 or earlier.
Well you're not getting a £50 version for free, but a version that cost how much when the highest resolution available was 640 x 480? A lot of people would have found 720 acceptable, and some might have gone on to purchase the product, which Is a good product. However most won't bother to even download this, so the company lose out on any sales... Which I'd have rather thought the point in them participating at all...
Limitation: Output video in a resolution not higher than 640×480.

I appreciate the offer, but with those limitations, I'll have to pass on this one.
I used PowerDirector years ago, and found it useful. But over those years I have moved from using this app and a few of the Magix and Pinnacle editing programs to Sony's consumer-level products like their Imagination Studio and now their Sony Movie Studio Platinum suite. This is the consumer version of Sony's Vegas Video Professional editing suite which has become an industry standard along with Avid Media Composer, Apple's Final Cut Pro, and
Adobe's Premiere Pro Creative Suite.
In my opinion, Sony's tools blow the other consumer-grade editing tools away in terms of capabilities, value,ease-of-use and price. Sony's Platinum version includes integrated Music creation, Audio editing, and DVD & Blu-Ray disk authoring capabilities. And even more importantly, they have never failed me.
The info header at the top of this page states that Cyberpower sells this app for $49.99. I'm not sure if this is available at a lower price "on sale", but I regularly see Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 available for anywhere from $50 -$80 for the entire suite of apps.
Thanks GAOTD and Cyberpower, but given the limitations of this "LE" version program, I'll have to respectfully pass on the offer. To answer the question of how I would improve the product, it's a no-brainer: remove the silly (IMO) 640x480 resolution restriction (what is this, 1995?) and offer the app for a price that allows it to compete with other, more full-featured editing programs.
be careful if you uninstall as this application leaves many traces of software behind. to uninstall this application correctly you need to use some software like advance uninstaller (free) and to follow the instructions and then reboot
the software itself is ok in use but remember this is not full spec so it is only suitable for doing the basics

Получение видео с максимальным разрешением в 640×480.
Какой-то сильно ужатый функционал. Такой формат видео только на телефоне смотреть, да и то на душе кошки скрести будут. Неприятненько.... конечно, понимаю, желание производителя продать и подороже свои продукты, но это просто не уважение к пользователям.

Если с форматом mp4 ещё можно согласиться, то с разрешением 640×480 никак не получится: на чём смотреть полученный результат - на древнем ТВ со стеклянным кинескопом? Даже пробовать не буду.
