Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro, 64 bit system.
A Chinese company without name and address, digitally signed Xi’an Zhihengyinwu Co., Ltd, a (young? since 2012?) company in Xi’an, Shaanxi.
The copyright is claimed from 2004-2013 - I don't find any entry in Google before 2011.
A simple resizable window opens. You can add text (as image of course) or an image which overlays the original PDF. This is done without problems, to delete (page "cutter") a page in the document, you leave the program, you choose the PDF file, delete a page and the file is stored with a _deleted mark in the same folder.
The eraser does not really erase text, as it cannot handle a PDF in the "true" mode. I overlays the side with an blank image of the size of the eraser mark. This is DANGEROUS, because any PDF reader can copy the "invisible" text under the "deleted" image. It is of course not deleted, but hidden.
A simple PDF tool in a crowded world of PDF tools. Too simple. Does what it claims, but the "erase content" is hiding, not erasing.
Uninstalled via reboot. At least the company does not claim to be the world leader in PDF erasing software.
There is another problem with "unwanted objects" not solved by PDF Eraser Pro 1.0.3:
I often encounter PDFs with coloured background which cost a lot of ink etc. unnecessarily if printed (text consumes about 5%, full basic color 100% or even more if more than one basic colour is mixed). Readability suffers greatly. You can't overpaint background with PDF Eraser Pro 1.0.3 as text then will be lost.
I had searched for a long time...
Free PDF-XChange Viewer Portable (about 13 MB uncompressed, free OCR functionality available for English etc.) delivers an easy and comfortable solution. Go to preferences. There you can alter the documents view with colours of front (now black), background (now white!!!!), bars etc. which influences printing. (I can't tell exact procedure at the moment as I'm online with a Linux Live CD.)
Take a second PDF-XChange Viewer Portable if you sometimes need original colours and you don't need to fumble with preferences forwards and backwards.

There is unfortunately no URL, where you can simply check a company.
You have to look through their websites, the signatures of the installed software, whois and... google&google again. With some routine this goes quite well, even if I make mistakes from time to time, which I try to avoid of course.
I consider it important to look, who is behind a software. It gives confidence or the contrary.

A very simple installation and registration that opened up to a simple and usable interface, an interface that is almost identical to the editor in WinPDFEditor given away here a short time ago.
I had to use this recently on a particular document so I used it again on today's download and it was just the same.
The document chosen needed some text removing and replaced; it was easy to erase the area required and equally easy to add new text there in a font of my choice.
Adding an image was no problem having said that I could not find a method of resizing it which would have been nice.
This appears to be exactly the same program as the one mentioned above except other than it does not have the converter, it is about $10 cheaper.
A pleasant easy-to-use program.
For fun only. A child' toy.
Not for anything serious.
You can visually "erase" text and type in new text. You can choose the font and size of new text.
However it is just an illusion.
Everything in the original document is still there.
This is easily proved. Simply open up the (erased +edited)PDF document in any PDF editor. Then either by menu command or keyboard command, choose to view the document as text.
All original wording will be revealed.

Инсталлер весит больше установленной программы :) за счет впихнутого в него NET FRAMEWORK 2.0

Функционал весьма ограниченный, выглядит немного сыровато....
вставленные изображения не ресайзятся, я во всяком случае не нашел как это сделать (не углублялся особо).

Тут совсем недавно раздавался iSkysoft PDF Editor 3.0.0, так к новой (4.0.0) версии с офсайта,
подходят старые ключи ;)
И этот самый Editor вроде и удаляет корректно,
не затирая все на странице а именно вотермарк, посимвольно - bit.ly/1oPf68f
но зараза – сохранить не может :( (особо глубоко не копал)
По большому счету подобная функция ни разу не была мне нужна, так что....
не было повода углубляться в изучение вопроса ;)

Я с сегодняшнего дня в новом отдельном помещении, и у меня один комп на 1 Айпи, без других рабочих компов. Поскольку моя команда теперь в другом помещении и ее контролирует наш админ, а не я.
Не думаю, что я смогу теперь качественно тестить программы, потому что в моем личном компе и ноуте очень много фирменных драйверов и авторских кодаков. А идти на "точку", что бы сделать тест на почти "голой" стандартной Винде - физически нет времени.
Мое время - реально деньги, и это - моя жизнь, а не поговорка. :-(
Поэтому, если будет свободное время, что-то интересное и возможность потестить, я с удовольствием приду и поделюсь соображениями по теме.
