Hello again. Previouly given away on GOTD was a similar software by the same publisher, Moyea PPT to DVD converter. What's the difference? Let me answer the question. Today's giveaway not only burns Powerpoints to DVD, but also converts to a multiple other video formats, such as Zune, IPod, Mpeg, Flv (for youtube), avi, etc. This is good for sending presentations to those without PowerPoint installed. Note: You need to have PowerPoint installed to use this giveaway. If you don't have PowerPoint and want to read ppt files, use OpenOffice.
PROS
Allows you to record your voice in narration for your powerpoint file.
Has an option to allow you to convert one slide to a chapter on the dvd.
Doesn't need other burning software to do the job.
Batch conversion supported.
Good video compression while retaining high image and graphics quality.
CONS
No option to record your powerpoint to dvd manually (you click to your speed).
Some wrong syncronization between the animation sounds and the animations.
Doesn't support some dvd burners (I have a Sony and a LG. The burning process was only succcessful using the LG burner.)
Slow burning, with one of the three test powerpoints failing to convert on first two tries. Only was successful in the third try.
Verdict: 7/10 because of uncompatibility with some burners, and also no manual recording.
Second Note: Does not seem to be compatible with Windows7, but is also compatible with Windows ME, which is not listed.

Oops. Forgot to mention that, this program seems too expensive. $49.95, like the software mentioned in the above comment by me, is quite enough.
Correction: The software previously offered is "PPT to Video Converter" which does not support burning to dvd by default. Sorry for the mistake!

#2 PCexpert, no, it only works on ppt files. However, you can save as .ppt in Open Office to make the file compatible with today's giveaway.

#2, you need MS Office to use this program, even if you save the files as ppt.
#9, it works with MS Office trial.
#10, thanks for linking to my article.

Really useful - I like the fact that one can set the slide transition time per slide, rather than only globally. Also deals with animations more easily that iSpring.
