Tried few word files the conversion was inaccurate and the page format was wrong. Not to mention that tables conversion was totally disfigured
I have version 2.49, and it works...well, just okay. My major interest is to use "PDF to..." (as "...to PDF" can mostly be done by a free PDF printer driver); however, the PDF to MS Word format (I mostly do this) output doesn't looks quite perfect. For a non-scanned PDF, the output quality is acceptable, but for a scanned PDF, the output is disappointing as it even loses the table format. An improvement in the OCR quality seems to be required.
The whole point of the PDF is lost if you try and edit it or convert it to another format.
Leave PDF's be as their authors intended.
XP-Man, this is one of the strangest things I have ever experienced. I hesitated in even relating it here, because it doesn't sound genuine. I assure you, I'm telling the truth. I was literally moments from going back to a website I had encountered 2 days ago that had an article I needed to print. I have been collecting data over the last three days to present to my local politicians in an attempt to get a legislative bill changed before it's passed. (It will have a detrimental impact on my life if left unchanged). There was a time when sites would always have a printable version available. I believe they stopped that, because people were using that mode to READ the article without having to look at advertising---not just print. So, I knew it was going to be a problem. I didn't want to just copy and paste the text and lose all the formatting, etc. I believe this was providential, that you posted that for me to read at the very moment I needed it for my "project". I used the online version and as you said, it worked flawlessly! It printed exactly as on the screen with all the formatting intact and with the pictures. (There were 81 comments at the end of the article, so I just trimmed those pages at the end). Thank you sir for taking the time to share your knowledge. It retains any links on the page and has never failed me however complex the webpage.
Add OCR capability because some PDF documents are merely images of the original. I need to search a document for keywords and names. Thank you.

Ну что сказать.. неоднозначный софт.. с кириллицей переконвертил книгу.
Вроде форматирование в плане отступов и таблиц и рисунков осталось, но шрифт сделал 7,5, еле читаемым, не знаю уж почему, в оригинале он в районе 12 по размеру.
И ещё, у него в комплекте кусок Libre Office, зачем? Видимо свою платную функцию он реализует через бесплатное ПО, как часто у китайцев бывает.

Кириллицу не любит. С кириллицей корректно работает Coolmuster PDF Converter Pro - тоже был по акции. Гивевею и Мороженке - merci!
