** The GAOTD version gets nailed by anti-virus software due to a DLL file (erdmpg4.dll).
But you can go to GoldAudioMedia, download the regular trial version which has the clean DLL, and use the registration info provided in the GAOTD download.
This was brought up on the Dutch language version of GAOTD, I just figured it might be useful for a more international audience too :p
I know from the past that this is a very fine program. However, it cannot be installed if your anti-malware program is on top of the situation, because the installer will try to rename a file during the process. This is of course a wrongful way of installing, but I assure you that the program is harmless. There is nothing wrong, but you may have to first disable your firewall/anti-spyware program, before installing.
Another affiliate ripoff of My Audio Studio or is it the other way around. Files are exactly the same.
My audio Studio was given away about a week and a half ago.
Another shambolic situation arising from GOTD's seeming inability to differentiate between established products from established developers and new & untried stuff from developers deliberately naming themselves after others.
The 'gold' standard for this type of software is Goldwave from

Back in May, GOTD made Gold Wave available. There's a space between the words but novices wouldn't have noticed (which was just what the developers were counting on.)
Now here's another 'Gold' something which has nothing to do with Goldwave, rather it's yet another attempt to sow confusion.
Why does GOTD associate itself with outfits which seek to pass off themselves and their products in so misleading a way????
Definitely not for DLing or testing so thanks but no thanks, GOTD.

Gold Audio Suite и My Audio Studio от 23 июля http://ru.giveawayoftheday.com/?s=My+Audio+Studio&x=0&y=0 просто почти близнецы! И,всё-таки, бесплатный аналог для редактирования аудио для неспециалиста в области музыки программа Audacity, мне больше нравится. Тем более, что в ней присутствует возможность мультидорожечной сессии.
