If you are having issues with the activation of the product, you may need to temporarily disable your anti-virus suite. This is a well known false positive reaction to the protection system that we use to prevent unauthorized installations/activations after the end of the promotion.

It would have been awesome if GOTD stopped using the wrapper. It (=the wrapper) is a major irritant to many, many visitors to this site, especially to those visitors who know that disabling Antivirus, even for several minutes, opens a chance for some malicious hackers to sneak through to our computers and/or inject malicious code.
Antivirus programs are being installed for a reason-namely to prevent harm to our computers.

I do my web browsing as a standard user and provide administrator credentials only as required. The installer requires admin rights, which is normal and fine. But Activate.exe only activates this program for the administrator account, not for all users. I had to change my standard account to an admin account to activate this program for that account, then change it back.
Activate.exe also attempts to change the browser settings. Otherwise, no installation issues.
Installed, tested, uninstalled. I'm sorry guys but there are a bunch of free html editors available that run circles around this Antenna. By the way, as a telecommunications engineer I can't understand the meaning of the name, cause I see no relation of this program with electromagnetic waves.
This program requires Windowsupdate to be all the way on and running. No program should make those kinds on demands.
If anyone wants to keep this be sure to disable the automatic update checking in the options dialog as we are not automatically entitled to free updates and if you do update you risk losing the giveaway license.
To the vendor WHY do you restrict the program to windows 7 or above? It uses no version specific DLL resources not found in either XP SP3 or Vista and all executables and DLLs included are happily loaded in XP SP3 and Vista too!
regarding the activation problems the admin rights requirement is a blanket requirement on the activate.exe file. REALLY to do things right GAOTD should use an admin build for when the vendor supplied reg file or registry key data is in the HKLM heirachy and a NON-admin build where the registry key data is within the HKCU where no admin rights are needed and the program needs to be launched fully in the context of the currently logged in users account! Also technically the use of themidia exe/gcd system in the activate.exe system provides no security benefit to the giveaway over the previous system but it does cause hassel for end users and should be rethought in my opinion.

...Распакуйте пакет, который вы загрузили, и установите программное обеспечение, запустив Setup.exe,
Затем запустите программу активации Activate.exe, которая включена в пакет для регистрации вашей копии.
NB: если вы являетесь пользователем ОС Vista, вам, вероятно, потребуется запустить Setup.exe и Activate.exe в качестве администратора на ПК...

Программы для постройки сайтов часто раздают, например: WEBSITE X5 START 13. Есть и бесплатные. Эта, возможно, и полезна, но из-за .gcd не беру. На других подобных сайтах нигде не пакуют в разовый установщик, а дают нормальный экзешник и ключ - или уже активированный инсталлятор. Гивевеич! Вылазь уже из окопа! За .gcd - минус!!!
