Straightforward protection for most computers. Thumbs up, just for the fact that it would take 3 or more freeware programs to do what advanced system protector does in a single interface. So a lot less hassle for the user.

The only question to ask would be, if according to the terms and conditions of the download, no upgrades are available in this special version... does it mean that the upgrades and/or updates of the spyware signatures are also limited? Something to think about.

@ I have a question: Actually, running both AVG free and this program will not cause any problems.

@e4me: No, it does not slow down the pc down to a crawl. I run Windows XP with 800 MB ram and running this, I can still play PES6 without a glitch.

@FreewareGuy: The signature updates are limited to 2 years.

I tried this to answer your questions, but I don't need it actually because I already use ESET NOd32 and AVG Free at the same time.

Download it, extract the readme file & read it. This is an updating, pro version anti-spyware. Not an anti virus. You get your own personal activation code by registering using the link provided in the readme file in the compressed download.
The company is located in India but not hiding as company information is readily available & professionally presented for all to see. This shouldn't shy you away.
This company makes several software applications & all can be viewed through a visit to their homepage. Todays offer is available at Softpedia & CNet download.com in the free version. It's User Rating at Softpedia is good: (3.7/5), as rated by 11 users. If your concerned about running more then one application with shields enabled, just use the free version which is only a scanner.
The GUI is attractive & screen shots are also redly available both here & at Softpedia. It looks to me like a similar application to Malware Bites anti malware.
